With your amazing help and support, we hit our stretch goal of $40k today! Special shout out to backer John for pushing us over the threshold today.
We're excited to announce that every kit that's $28 or more will include a free geode! That includes our air plant terrarium, driftwood air plant kit, and of course the TerraSphere Zero kit!
Thanks again and please keep sharing our campaign, our next stretch goal is $60k which will let us include a free USB LED light in every TerraSphere Zero kit.

Thanks for your support and votes on which stretch goal you liked the most. The crystal geode had the most votes so we're including it FREE in all of our kits at the $28 or more reward level! We just need to reach our stretch goal of $40k to make it happen!
We've also had a lot of requests for the USB LED Light, so we're making that a stretch goal, also for free! We just need to reach $60K and we'll include one with every TerraSphere Zero Kit, reward level $58 and more.
Last but not least, we had several requests for smaller TerraSphere Zero kits made from a shatter-proof material that would be ideal for all ages. We're currently developing it and we're excited to announce that it's going to become a kit of it's own! We're calling it the TerraSphere Mini, it holds 16 oz. of water and includes one vial, black sand and reindeer moss. The only way to get it is by backing our TerraSphere Zero reward at $58 or more and helping us reach our stretch goal of $90K.

Option 1, USB LED Light
A constant light for the first two weeks encourages the most shrimp eggs to hatch. The USB light has a short body that is bendable and consumes very little power.
Option 2, Crystal Geode
One of the most popular decorative additions makers have responded to in our workshop. These are natural rocks lined with crystals that have been cleaned and tested to be safe for water terrarium use. They are purely decorative and have no other benefit than just looking awesome.

More moss & vials!

We are one week in and so far got tons of love, great questions and tips on making our kits even better. We design our kits to be easy to use as an introduction to projects you may have never done before.
We had several requests for extra moss and TerraSphere vials so we created an add on menu. To add these to your reward, just increase your pledge by the amount of each add on. Plus, no extra shipping! As long as you're getting a reward that's over $20, we'll just include it in your kits' delivery. You'll get a shipping survey at the end of the campaign, which is when we'll ask you which add ons and extra kits you'd like sent.
Extra moss will grow more food for the shrimp, increasing the overall population over time. We added a reindeer moss option, although this type of moss is not typically used in water terrariums, we have found that it's great for promoting algae growth in all of it's spongelike surfaces. Our add ons are preserved or dormant and come to life by adding water. This allows us to ship them internationally.

We met our goal in less than two hours!
